OMG remember those nappy cuts I did awhile back? Well check out the results!!!! The most fabulous Kirsty at Dragonfly Magik worked some serious Magik for me I can tell you! These are seriously one incredible (and incredibly hard to get) nappy and I cannot believe how blessed I am that she allowed me this creative indulgence. I made the appliques nice and wide, super sized even lol, I wanted them to wrap around the nappy. This may have scared a few nappy makers away as it isnt the 'usual' way to do things but not @ dragonfly magik. I love them!! My favourites by far!! Anyways best i stop yakking on and post some pics, enjoy *swoon*

Product details are now previewing at www.clothpadshop.com feel free to pop over and check out the sizes and some of the fabric combo's that may be available soon. I have yet to list individual products for sale (probably early next week that may happen). Please remember just because Im now selling from a store doesnt mean u can no longer email/pm me if u have some ideas for custom fabric combo's or want to share feedback. I love hearing from you and appreciate that when u take the time to drop me a line.

I was going to write a massive blurb about specific product changes but I have decided to keep it simple so not to bore u with my ramblings. If you have brought from me previously you will more than likely notice some differences in the pad design, they have all slightly increased in length and width except for the liner. There have also been a few other subtle changes here and there also.

bit of a speel about what been happening: NA swap pics included

Hope everyone is going great!! I have had one heck of a few weeks so havent had the time nor mental space to post here. For now I'll just share a bit about what ive been up to on the creative fronts.

  • Here are some pics of what I made for a forum secret swap I participated in:

    Photobucket

The nappy I made from the darling diapers pattern, its a size medium. This pattern is available to purchase online. I havent yet recieved my swap but its on its way *soo excited* I'll post some pics when it have it :D
  • I made a podaegi! Inspired by the ever creative earthy~la~la's gorgeous podaegi I decided I had to have one! I whipped one up a couple weeks back and i cannot believe it has taken soo long for me find out about pod's. Personally I find them so much more comfortable than a mei tai and my son actually likes it! I have previously had little luck with the ergo and MT (as much as I liked them bubs did not!), some luck with a ring sling (not really my cup of tea but was ok for short distance-bubs liked the ring sling hip carry) and a stretchy wrap when bubs was a newbie (loved the stretchy wrap for the first few months, soo perfect). But a carrier to please a toddler? Finally the Pod we both agree on. He can sit higher in a back carry than in say a ergo or other FB carrier and in general he seems more comfortable and isnt fighting it (I think the high back of the FB's has him feeling too caged). I'll endeavour to get some pics and give a bit of a run down on how I put it together when I get a bit more time. There are soo many tutorials online for these, if u love to carry ur bub and are still looking for 'the' carrier perhaps take the time to make one of these..
  • I have also been taking a fair amount of time to review the earthchild mamapad range. I will post about the changes in a few days ;)

  • And finally I have been BUSTING to show u pics of where I am up to on the K/K swap. but its not entirely finished so it would be a bit silly :P Pics will come soon..

There are seriously not enough hours in the day to complete all that I want to do..

If only I had no need for sleep lol
