Appliques for some customs.. a journey and a half

Ok so i was lucky enough to have the opportunity to create some appliqued nappy cuts to be turned into nappies by a truly fabulous woman and was super excited about doing so :D BUT unfortunately in my usual tripped out style I went into creative panic and ended up bodging up my first design *cry* I over thought what wasnt necessary and therefore ended up underthinking what was *sigh* but we live and learn and i will not repeat this mistake. Due to putting far too much time into my flop cut, I didnt have a lot of time to put as much detail in the others. I do truly like them though, just a bit sad my flopper wont make the cut.. I will recreate this scene and turn it into a nappy at some stage coz i think it will look lovely!
Heres what would have been the back of the flop

a waterfall scene
and the front

the night sky and the lake
Here is the other cut I made after the above one. I love this fabric and the matching applique!!! The peace signs are large-ish so will prob start to wrap around the sides of the nappy too, which should look cool :D Whether or not the peace print fabric turns into a full cotton front, a panel or a slight trim of colour on the front, I have no idea!! But I am excited to see it come to life and worn with love and true style by my boho bubba. Oh! and to add: the applique is centred its just my photographic ability that is a tad wonky LOL xoxo

And the replacement.. by now I am feeling true pressure to get these in to post. These symbols are all very special to me. I love the grey dot minky front it really works brilliantly with the black and white back.
Symbols:
love (pink)
infity (purple)
peace (black)
spiral (blue)
sun (yellow/orange)
om (green)
This pic quality is pretty poor (apologies)
