Elijah is a special little doll. He is being donated along with a seriously cool Inkindink set for the Qld Cancer Council. A *Collaborate for a Cause* facebook page was started (http://www.facebook.com/#!/collaborate4acause) as a mass fundraising effort for multiple charities and I was more than happy to donate! When asked to donate I research a lot! I need to know both my hard work and the funds raised go directly to charity and this page is genuine!

Elijah is an 11inch waldorf inspired doll. He is stuffed with clean wool and his skin is top quality cotton tricot. His hair is hand stitched on and 100% wool. I will be a tad sad to see Elijah move on as he and Emily have became great friends!!

Im still in between places, but am very glad to be here in beautiful Hervey Bay. 3 possible homes to look at today, wish me luck! ( thanks gorgeous parents for putting up with us longer than planned )

Super thankful my machines were accessible as everything else is still in boxes busting to be set free!! A fabric order later and the ultimate exercise in relaxation to chase away the worries of having yet to find a fab new place: Double sided minky and an inner of super yummy bamboo/cotton wadding..

So its finally happening!!! I move tomorrow :) I am so excited, this has been a long time coming.

Ive been missing work so much and very much am looking forward to getting back into the swing of things with more consistency again. Ive been working on a few things here and there. Here are a couple of my fave recent endeavours

Now a very loved and functional (but far from perfect) daycare bag the Buzz bag happened! I went opshopping the following day and while I didnt find metal slides I did find some that while not as pretty did the trick just fine :)

I have a new love - making dolls!! Its official I am addicted

I am Buzz Lightyear space ranger I come in peace! This is all Ive been hearing for days.. weeks.. oh lordy my son is obsessed!! (talking action figure lol)

I bought some toy story fabric and set to work. I also decided to embark on a back pack making adventure too and after an internal battle of Buzz bag verses a Funky and Super Fly designer print bag for him - the good and selfless mumma took over and Buzz WON!!

The bag is still in 3 peices Im on the hunt for some strap slides tomorrow. As the local licraft doesnt have what I need instock and there is nowhere else I can think locally to buy the local opshops are on the cards - surely I should be able to find a nice and cheap bag with one inch slides and a D clip ready to be retired right?? lol!

Wahoo!!! My sewing machine is home again and I have finished off something already :D It does help that I had it all cut out and rearing to go. I have so much here in various stages of completion, the break from the machine has lead to a lot of cutting of fabrics and ideas bouncing around my wee brain!

It felt like my machine was gone an eternity but was only a week. A really loooong week! The fabulous sewing tech only gets to our town once a week - yep we dont have a local/regular tech - crazy huh? I have to give kudos though he really knows what he is doing and very helpful!

So I really really reeeeally need to get to work on some Christmas pressies as Christmas waits for no man, woman or child. Such a massive case of super bad timing! I was hoping to have everything up and rearing at.. Da Da Da-Da..

Yep there it is - my new site! Its been eating me up no end to *try* and keep it all hidden away until my launch.. but alas I have to let it out... TA DA! lol! be gentle on me, Ive done the lay out myself and a thorough understanding of html and web design is something I do not have. So the date of the first stocking honestly i have no idea, I really need to get to work on Christmas presents. Its truly playing on my mind.

I will however at the bare minimum get the Santas little helper nappy up without a doubt! I would love to see it reach a new home in time for Christmas!! :D

Do you have your Christmas nappy? I have seen some amazing ones around.

I bought this fabric a little while ago and my first thought was *wow! its totally an aussie christmas print!* The beach, the red and green, the snowman who for me as a child was a part of the white christmas dream... and the thongs!!! lol!

I can almost feel the salt in the air and smell the bbq's! Summer holidays are on the way that is for sure :)

I am contemplating making another with a baby pink minky and a cute matching baby pink singlet. Feel free to encourage me if you have a little beach babe looking for something a bit different to wear this christmas.



Oh and also I wanted to share the grooviness that is the Santas little helper nappy so Ive cut and appliqued another.. just need to snap and then sew it up! This one is a size medium too :)

I just had to! The beautiful boy doesnt really need any more nappies. His TTing was going so well that I even wondered if he would even be in nappies at Christmas but I could not help myself it just seemed to cute an idea lol. WDYT? Santas little helper? Its a medium fattycake and the little fellow weighs in at 14kgs so he's at the high end of the weight range.

I havent been around for what seems like aaaggeess.. the ease of facebook has really taken over.

A whole lot of awesome in the form of being invited to guest at the legendary Gossamer Dreams!! Those mama's are AMAZING! Totally and completely! Incredible both in the work that they do and the beauty of their spirits <3 What a true gift they are to the world of WAHM.
